Public Charging
PNM wants to help you provide charging equipment for your customers, wherever they are. Rebates are available to reduce your cost to install charging stations for public use. Contact our Program Authorized Contractors to schedule an assessment and find out what equipment is best for your facility.
DC Fast Chargers
Direct Current Fast chargers typically use 480 volts and are often called Level 3 chargers. They are the fastest way to charge a compatible EV. Typically, 80% of the battery can be charged in just 30 to 60 minutes, helping your customers quickly recharge.
Level 2 Chargers
Give customers a reason to stop and shop. Level 2 chargers typically use 208 to 240 volts and can add between 12 to 25 miles per charging hour to your customer’s battery.

PNM is invested in recharging New Mexico’s workforce. If you have a commercial fleet, we have rebates and resources to help you keep them charged. Program Authorized Contractors are committed to ensuring quick and easy installations to keep your fleet going.

What rebates are available?
PNM is dedicated to ensuring EV chargers are available to its commercial customers. We offer $2,500 for installing Level 2 chargers and $25,000 for installing DC Fast chargers. Our Easy Install method is a seamless way to apply for a rebate and get your charger installed by the Program Authorized Contractor of your choice. You can also apply for a rebate using our Online Application if your equipment has already been installed.

Program Authorized Contractors are licensed electricians, trained on the details of the Transportation Electrification Program. Their knowledge of the program makes installing your charger easy by completing the application, providing you with a rebate, and taking the guesswork out of installing a charger.
